个人简介Anthony Montague Browne was born on May 8, 1923 in the UK as Anthony Arthur Duncan Montague Browne. He was a writer, known for Look at Life: Churchill Pilgrimage (1966), The Complete Churchill (1992) and Churchill (2003). He was married to Shelagh Macklin and Noel Arnold-Wallinger. He died on April 1, 2013 in England.
早年经历He was the son of a British army colonel. He attended Magdalen College, Oxford. During WWII he joined the RAF and served in the Middle East and Asia. After the war, he started working for the Foreign Office, and became private secretary to Sir Winston Churchill in Downing Street in 1952. He continued as Churchill's secretary for 10 years after Sir Winston resigned as prime minister in 1955, until the former prime minister's death.
