King Felipe of Spain was born on January 30, 1968 in Madrid, Spain as Felipe Juan Pablo Alfonso de Todos los Santos de Borbón y Grecia. He has been married to 莱蒂齐亚王后 since May 22, 2004. They have two children.

In November 2003 the Royal Palace made the announcement of his engagement to journalist Letizia Ortiz. The couple married the following year at the Cathedral of Madrid.

He has also had a military education in the three branches of the Spanish Army.

Was a member of the Olympic sailing team at the 1992 Olympic Games in Barcelona, during whose inauguration he appeared as a standard-bearer for the Spanish team.

Studied at the Autonomous University of Madrid and graduated in Law. He was enrolled in a Master's program in international relations at Georgetown University in Washington, graduating in 1995.

Is the heir to the throne of Spain. His title is "Prince of Asturias" (equivalent to the United Kingdom's Prince of Wales).

His wife, Princess Letizia, gave birth to their first child, a girl named Leonor, at Madrid's Ruber International clinic on October 31, 2005.
